Patent Law, Penalties and Fine

Right that is universally new and original -not imitation- is accepted as protectable. By producing a product which is produced in the country or which is imported from other countries, by his own means, the domestic producer shall not be provided with any protection with regard to the three-dimensional design of the said product. Moreover this action may create "Unfair Competition" from the point of the protected rights of the prior producers of the said product as an original product, if there is a similarity that may lead to confusion between the products.Some creative works are protected with one law, some with more than one law; whereas book names, words themselves, facts and the like are not protected with any law.
 
Protection is a legal consequence brought in order to protect the persons who have made the invention, created the design, first thought of the trade and/or service mark or used it for a product or for a service, wrote a novel, composed a piece of music. Those individuals, who claim that they are owners of the right although they are not the real proprietors, are defined as Usurper of the Right.

Disregarding patent law in Turkey is punished by fine and even sentence to jail.
